Got mileage of

38 kmpl

Buying experience was as usual challenging with availability of black color was very scarce across bangalore. One dealer who had it tried even selling one on display too. Had to compromise and settle down for a red/black one.
Riding experience has been mixed on feelings as after first service the bike stops revving in running condition at 1 or 2 gear lot of times. The gear indicator doesn`t show 70% of the times and i feel its an utter waste of it being there holding space in the tiny display unit.
Looks are great as it gives a different level of design as compared to the popular sibling xpulse 200 4v. The horn is a blunt and bad (awaiting to change it in next service)
Servicing & maintenance - have to go through second service and update as the first one wasn`t impressive even after clocking almost 1.5k.
Mileage when ridden within 50+ kms can clearly clock 40+km/ litre. I feel the bike has 1st gear as shortfall (6 speed gear box would have been great) as crossing 100 km/h is a very tedious process. Both foot pegs and upper side of tank (where thighs rest) vibrates heavily after crossing 85+km /h.
Bike also gets heated up heavily but considering its open air intake is pretty decent... Mirrors are a pain in the butts as the aligning in bad and the design inspired from ktm`s are shabby and pain reaps off when tried to align and doesn`t give clear and wide angle view...
Tank pads should have been incorporated as the tank design runs deep and scratching upper and sides while riding can happen very easily... Have been trying to install the original windshield and suspension socks (rubber) haven`t had the liberty to see them available even at OEM's manufacturers or at hero exclusive showrooms/service centers.
Thank you for reading...

  • Hero showroom is fraud company don't buy it without enquiry

    Kishore

The worst bike and showrooms are taking extra money from me. Hero is a fraud company. They told me the final amount is Rs.1,35,000/- and I paid 50,000 advances and they told me 0% EMI charges and the remaining amount of Rs. 85,000 I have to pay for 18 months that they told to me. Without informing me they changed it to 24 months. They are taking Rs.1,40,000/- approximately instead of Rs.85,000/-
Please don't take this bike they are frauds.

When I went to the Showroom I saw this amazing bike and fell love in with it. I have had a wonderful experience driving 9000 km to date. Once a small issue happened regarding the oil motor so my bike has been stopped ie starting problem but after repairing the byke gave its best. I just travel so many of terrain and am always excited to ride it. Eco-friendly and sustainable byke which I have to own it.

  • Unreliable bike frequent breakdowns

    Pradeep Kumar

Worst bike ever rode. Pathetic service centers rode only 620 km in 6 months and bikes broke down 5 times. Got extended warranty its of no use. The service center guys are clueless about the issues. Never ever buy hero products. They have lost it all to honda and others. Always serviced on time despite not having ridden for the required kilometers. The seat is super uncomfortable so is the engine. The bike vibrates after 50 km.

I purchased Xpulse 200T because it was pocket friendly. My personal riding experiences are satisfactory & adventurous due to looking my bike is most popular in Alwar city. The maintenance cost was never more than 520 rupees.
Pros are look, pickup, ABS, eco mode & Xconnect.
Cons is at high speed it starts vibration & rider get a little bit to confuse from where vibration sound is occurring.

    1. Buying experience was good
    2. Riding experience is not very impressive. 60 to 70km/hr speed with less vibration... 70+ means it's a machine gun
    3. Looks good
    4. Maintenance is good, pocket friendly
    5. Pros = low maintenance, good looking
cons = not so fuel efficient as I expected from hero, it feels like under power, 1st gear 20+
2nd gear 55+, 3rd gear 70+ and then come lots of vibration and break confidence.

This bike doesn't seem 200cc.i purchased this 8 month before and using it regularly. Yamaha 150cc is better then this. I took wrong decision purchasing this. Thought it will cost me less as a 200cc bike in market but there is no pickup and power in this bike comparing to other 200cc. If your argument is "itne paisa me itna hi milega" then better show this 125cc rather then 200. At least buyers won't have much expectations.

  • Fairly good bike with 200cc power.....

    Varun Lokre

Buying experience was fair and good, had only 1 color option on immediate availability (matt gold). The ride is quite comfortable, seat could be better and more comfortable (not so comfortable for long drives more than 1 hour or so) the suspension is really good, the bike has wonderful power and shoots itself like a rocket to gain good speed, handling is comfortable and easy, however bike engine maxes out beyond 60 kmph and reaching to 70 or 80 sounds like a lot of hard work for the engine. Looks are stylishly retro, the round headlight is quite stunning (although a slightly bigger size would have been good), due to suspension being slightly raised at the front the low beam is by default at a slight high angle, and shows more road further away than nearer path.
The bike can however handle itself well on gravel and dried mud roads and can easily glide over holes and unevenness in country roads, it is not as good as its off-road sister, but it does fairly well too for itself.
Also the bike has more ground clearance than the other 150-200 cc range bikes, so is comfortable for tall people (myself being 6'1) its a good bike, gives the feeling of being a bit above the others... (height wise :p)
Servicing is good and affordable, does not give much trouble.

I buy my first bike 1 year ago. The bike is very amazing to ride. When you increase the throttle bike goes like a flying plane. Awesome experience with this bike and my lovely memories. Never saddens me on long road trips also. I am happy. Service cost is low maintenance.
I think no cons from my side. Thank you.

  • Amazing bike

    Dusmanta Chhatriya
