The Vida V1 gets a pretty futuristic look with its apron mountain LED headlight, topped by a small smoked visor, and LED turn indicators. It also gets a split-seat setup with a sturdy-looking grab rail.
Powering the Vida V1 Pro is a removable 3.94kWh lithium-ion battery with a range of 165km while the Vida V1 Plus gets a 3.44kWh unit with 142km range. The top speed for both variants is limited to 80kmph. The Vida V1 Pro variant can go from 0-40kmph in 3.2 seconds while the Vida V1 Plus does it in 3.4 seconds.

PLEASE READ FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!**Pathetic Vehicle – Avoid at All Costs** Guys, this is the worst vehicle ever! I put all my hard-earned savings into buying this scooter for ₹1.65 lakh on-road in Bangalore, and it turned out to be the biggest regret of my life. **Model:** Hero Vida V1 Pro **Make:** July 2023 **Sold:** December 2024 **KMS Run:** 15,133 Let me tell you straight: the service guys are utterly useless. **Roadside Assistance Is a Joke** Within a year, roadside assistance is gone! If your scooter breaks down—which it will—you’re on your own. The service team has the audacity to tell you to self-tow the vehicle using a porter. I had to do it once, and that’s when I decided to get rid of this piece of junk. **Frequent Breakdowns** A minor electrical glitch or some random fault, and your scooter will just stop working. It won’t even start! No matter how small the issue, the entire vehicle becomes a headache. **Service Center Woes** The service center is 27 km away from my home on Magadi Road. Imagine traveling so far every few months! And trust me, you’ll be going there often because this scooter loves to break down. In just one year, they replaced several parts during four separate services. The funny thing? You don’t even have to wait for service intervals. Every two months, it will automatically break down, and you’ll be forced to take it to the service center. **Insane Service Costs** After my fifth service and another towing episode, I decided to add up all the costs covered under warranty from my previous invoices. Brace yourself: it totaled ₹1.1 lakh! That’s almost the price of the scooter itself. Luckily, it was under warranty. But here’s the kicker: the warranty is only for 30,000 km or three years, whichever comes first. I had already burned through half of my warranty period and mileage. If this is what the costs look like now, imagine the expenses once the warranty expires! Can you really afford to spend ₹1 lakh on a 2-wheeler every year? **A Total Money Pit** After warranty expires, you’ll be at the mercy of the service center. They’ll charge you insane amounts—₹10,000, ₹20,000—for parts that fail through no fault of your own. Their parts are absolute trash and just spoil on their own. If you somehow manage to pay these absurd bills, you’ll eventually think of selling the scooter. But guess what? By then, it’ll be too late. No one will buy a scooter out of warranty because the battery itself costs ₹55,000. Two batteries? Over ₹1.2 lakh! Who in their right mind would pay that for an old scooter? **Resale Value Is Pathetic** I sold mine after just 1.5 years of use for ₹75,000–₹80,000 max. I bought it for ₹1.65 lakh and had to sell it for half the price! If you wait for the warranty to expire, this scooter will be worth peanuts—₹10,000–₹20,000. Even a 10-year-old Activa sells for ₹30,000–₹40,000 these days. **Final Advice: Stay Away from EVs** Don’t make the mistake I made. Never buy the Hero Vida V1 Pro, or any EV for that matter. If you’ve already bought it, sell it immediately before the warranty runs out. If your warranty has already expired, my sincere advice is to pour petrol on it and set it on fire. It’ll save you the frustration of dealing with this nightmare. This scooter isn’t just a waste of money; it’s an emotional blow. I worked hard to buy my first new scooter, and it ended up being a total disaster. I’ve learned my lesson. Don’t become the next scapegoat.

I have purchased Vida v1 from Shaphire Honda Lajpat Nagar. This bike is very nice and it comes with two removable batteries. You can run your Vida v1 on a single battery also. Ideal for the customer who runs a bike for long kilometres per day nearby the home location. Vida v1 is a blessing for the delivery boy. Thanks, hero motocorp for this amazing electric scooter.

I choose Vida after comparing all the electric scooters along with the riding experience, service quality, and repair cost after doing all the comparisons and taking test drives. This is the best deal in the market. Although this video does not give a battery guarantee as Ola the performance is really good.

BEST EV FOR EVERY FAMILY
Santosh Thakur
Amazing scooter for living in flatsThe Vida electric scooter offers good performance with a top speed of around 80kph, making it suitable for city use. However, the overall quality is not great, and the pricing is quite high.Ride & HandlingThe test track has a smooth surface all around, so we won’t be able to comment on the actual ride quality, but from our brief ride at the test track, we have no reason to complain about the Vida V1’s ride and dynamics. Despite its 126 kg kerb weight, it’s light on its wheels, and easy to manage, and gives the rider confidence with its nice balance and stability. The V1 Plus will be 2 kg lighter, but overall the V1 is a nimble scooter, handles pretty well, and you can change directions quite easily, without losing composure or balance.

Use regenerative power to increase battery life. Don't break directly use the throttle to regenerate just by pulling the throttle to zero when needs to break.

No spare parts with company
Dr Yogendra Madan
There are many points against the vida v1 pro, most important is1. Company doesn't have spare parts. So you may understand value of vehicle without spare parts. Useless. Scarcity of parts also means high cost.2. Technology is new for the company, all employees and service persons look at vehicles with surprise. For every complaint they have one answer. We will attach with computer and format the software. This might solve the problem. 3. Range of vehicle is much less than claimed4. Sale person's are very active and smart. They repeatedly call you and offer to buy additional set of batteries. What is the meaning of Sale when parts are not available? 5. The cost of batteries are much more than the cost of vehicle. Can't share bike photo bike is in service center from last one month. I met an minor accident. Part are not available with company.

use-less scooter

I bought this scooter on July 18, 2024.Uncomfortable scooter, looks are not good, performance means you cannot ride with another person, servicing, and maintenance do not matter.we have to buy it only for a removable battery 8o km range. And the breaking levers are very lengthy and far, you cannot press the breaks.footboard is very short you can put only children's carriage here. rear suspension is given at the end of the scooter, which can damage your back easily, the manufacturer had made this for scooter safety not for rider person. nothing is good in this scooter. simply wasting of money. The split seat is disgusting. The sound horn of this scooter is amazing and we can shout better than this.

Stylish EV scooter with unskilled electrical wiring
19 weeks ago
Aneesh Raj
I used the Vida for three weeks, and as a mechanical engineer, I am impressed with the frame's build quality and the front and rear suspensions. However, I am quite dissatisfied with the electrical wiring and cables, which seem to have been installed by an unskilled electrician. Many wires are exposed without proper waterproof insulation, and the soldering appears cheap. At just 600 kilometers, less than a month after purchase, the display pin on my Vida Plus disconnected when I drove over a rough road. Additionally, the switches are sticky and require significant effort to press. The buzzer is also absent, and the back carriage bucket fills with water when exposed to rain, due to the split seat design. The mudguard is inadequate, allowing water and mud to enter both the central stem and the outer part of the battery cover when driving through wet roads
