Hero Electric Dash Summary

The all-new Dash is the newest addition to Hero Electric’s e-scooter portfolio. It is positioned between the Optima (single-battery variant) and the range-topping Photon model. The Dash follows a modern and sporty design with twin-pod LED headlamp with LED DRLs, small windscreen on the handlebar, chrome side mirrors and brushed levers. It also features a dual-tone colour scheme which makes it look attractive. Besides that, the e-scooter gets a digital instrument cluster, USB mobile charging port and a remote boot opening function.

For motive power, the Dash features a 250W BDLC motor that draws power from a 48v 28 Ah Li-Ion battery. With a charging time of four hours, the battery is rated to deliver a range of 60km. The scooter has a dry weight of 77kg and is capable of achieving a top speed of 25kmph. On the mechanical front, the e-scooter comes with telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorber at the rear. While braking is taken care of by drum brakes at both ends. The Dash rides on 13-inch magnesium alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres.

Hero Electric Dash Review

  • Good Things

    • Full charging time of 4 hours
    • 60kms riding distance
    • Gets USB charging point
  • Could be Better

    • Boring design
    • Limited sales & service reach
    • Fit and finish aren't up to the mark

BikeWale's Take

The Dash is one of Hero’s entry-level e-scooter. It get basic functionalities like digital cluster, USB charging and remove boot opening feature. The battery lasts for almost 60kms which is decent. But the fit and finish of the scooter can be so much better.

Hero electric dash, nice thing it has telescopic suspension, breaks are also good. Its very smooth to ride, comparison to optima and all other hero e bikes..The only issue here is the speed. Top speed you can go 30. It's mileage is 60. Looks very stylish, its weight is not much, overall it's good for city users. It's better than all other hero e bikes.
