  • This machine is a proper upgrade for me from Gixxer 150

    Sivakumar

I bought this machine in June 2024. Till now I have ridden 3500 km. Honda's big wing dealer delivered the bike on the promised date. The dealership was very pleasant. I already owned a Gixxer 150. This machine is a proper upgrade for me from Gixxer 150. The city ride is a blast. Handles well. Torque made this machine lovable. Mine is grey. looks calm. The only thing is... so-called YouTubers made this machine flop. They simply ride for a while and make silly judgments. For the price what is offered now is an excellent proportion for value and thrill. If ride aggressively I get 33kmph. If I ride normally..this machine gives me 39kmph. Overall I am very satisfied with cb300f. Most YouTubers don't know why this cb300f was launched. They directly compared with ktms, pulsar. Cb300f is a performance commuter. Very well adapted for day-to-day rides On the highway I reached 130kmph and maintained for long stretches. No problem at all. Due to high torque in low and mid-range... its top speed is limited. In practice, we need good low and mid-end torque in day-to-day rides. No option for the center stand is the only concern. Overall it's a very well-balanced machine.

  • Best beginner bike with a 300 badging for Indian road daily commute

    Somnath Deb

The buying experience was decent. The riding experience is smooth. The gear shifts properly, acceleration is good, and pretty decent for new riders too but with time it doesn't feel slow though. Wide tyres provide confidence while cornering. Looks are sharp, it's not too boring not too sporty either. Comes with a sports commuter look. Servicing is not too cheap but decent. Maintenance is basic. Best beginner bike with 300 badges. Looks awesome from every angle. Decent mileage. All led setup. Full digital speedometer. Comes with a Bluetooth connection in the dlx pro version. Dual channel ABS. Switchable traction control. Riding comfort is there as well as pillion comfort is decent. Lightweight and pretty stable on higher speed. All over it's a value-for-money package. Connecting with the phone is a headache. LED headlight is not that powerful, will need to add auxiliary lights later for better night visibility on highways. Power figures can be a bit better.

  • So much good bike and its riding experience so smooth this bike is awesome

    Raja Sharma

The riding experience is too good and smooth it has less vibration and comfort handling. The cb 300f bhp power is so quickly moving to low speed convert into a higher speed. Breaking is too good. The Digital meter is so informative and gear are total 6. When I give a 3rd gear then the maximum speed is 100 touch and within 7 seconds.

  • Good Motorcycle with Horrendous Build Quality.

    Vishwa Deepak Dwivedi

Well, it's been more than 6 months living with this motorcycle and I am having a love-hate relationship with it to be honest. I purchased it from Honda Bigwing Ghaziabad and my buying experience was butter smooth. Credits to the Bigwing Ghaziabad Team for that.
The motorcycle looks decently good - passively aggressive and I love it that way. Although it resembles Hornet 2.0 to some extent, this motorcycle has its own charm. It rides amazing with comfortable riding posture and the gearshifts are butter smooth. Tyres offer adequate grip and gives you confidence.
Now the cons and I have a lot to share. The first thing is the build quality. I am not sure what Honda was planning. The bike is all plastic (read cheap quality plastic) with horrendous fit and finish. I say 'Horrendous' because it stands nowhere close if we compare it with KTMs and modern REs. The shrouds on the tank is very delicate. The clutch lever (although it has slipper clutch) is feeble with too much of free-play. Also, the vibrations on handlebars and foot-pegs at > 6000 RPM is something that irritates you but you have to live with it. Rear brakes lack the bite but after riding for around 6000 KMs, I am used to it. Also, since the bike is very light in weight, it is not very stable at high speeds.
I am not complaining about engine specifications and performance, but Honda could have done much better. Had they done it, they would not have to sell the bike at a discounted price. It would have sold like hotcakes, but Honda did what they do the best these days, disappoint their loyal customers. I had a Honda Unicorn and Hornet 160R in the past and my dad used to ride Honda Shine, but after this, I'm never going back to Honda again.

First of all the buying experience was amazing for me and if I talk about the riding experience then I never had owned a higher cc bike earlier so for me the power figures are not an issue, one can easily cruise 90-110kmph on it, I personally don't like flashy looks and this kinda work for me it has a huge big looking tank with an aggressive look but not that flashy too at the same time, I've only done my first service and it costs me around 1.4k inr.
For me, the pros will be-
    power
    look
    mileage
    weight
    Cons-
the built quality could have been better

This bike is best for those who want to upgrade to 300cc but not aggressive. The price point is great after the discount was announced. Ride quality is smooth. Gives 31-34 kmpl in the city with constant clutch and brakes. I am a family guy above 30 years of age and wish to have a pocket friendly 300cc. Honda CB300F it is!!!

    Premkumar

The buying experience is good. Easy to handle in the city. I got 35 kmpl in the city(Bengaluru). 44 kmpl in the highway. The biggest disadvantage is the availability of parts for this bike. And also not available in all honda showrooms, only available in Honda big wing. Cb300f bike needs more promotion. Looks like a bigger hornet.

For me, the pros will be-

    mileage

    Cons-
the built quality could have been better

The buying experience is good. Easy to handle in the city. I got 35 kmpl in the city(Bengaluru). 44 kmpl in the highway. The biggest disadvantage is the availability of parts for this bike. And also not available in all honda showrooms, only available in Honda big wing. Cb300f bike needs more promotion. Looks like a bigger hornet.
