This is the best bike that money can buy under 1.7 lakhs. On paper, it doesn't feel any competitive but once you ride this bike, it gives you the most satisfying riding experience. I did a test ride on multiple bikes but this bike gave me the best riding experience. PROS:1. Excellent handling quality2. Excellent ride experience3. Decent performance according to 184cc engine4. Good for short riders. I am 5'3" and I can easily ride this bike with ease5. Excellent braking on both sides. 6. Good throttle response7. Good enough comfort for daily commuting. I travel 32 km daily for my college and I feel no pain riding on this bike. In fact, I enjoy riding this bike more.8. Excellent build quality.9. Excellent quality in every aspect10. Golden Upside-down fork manufactured by shows on the front suspension. Only a few bikes under 2 lakhs offer this quality suspension.11. One of the widest tires (on both front and rear sides) in the segment (under 2 lakhs) which provides excellent handling quality.12. Huge petal disk brake on both front and rear side which is calibrated by Nissin which provides excellent braking.13. Good instrument cluster with basic features.14. All LED setups. If that matters to you.15. And of course, amazing mileage compared to the performance it gives. On average, I get 50-55 kmpl.CONS:1. No dual-channel ABS. Only single-channel ABS.2. Stiff suspension setup. Although it improves handling quality.3. Not catchy exhaust note if that matters to you.4. Good engine refinement but not as good as Honda standards.5. Only Air-cooled engines.6. Poor headlight throw area. The brightness of the light is good though.7. Not catchy rearview mirror design.Overall you can buy this motorcycle without thinking too much about it. But it's better to have a test ride on this bike if this bike suits you or not.
Tips for Honda Hornet 2.0
Do wash and lube the chain between 500 km-1000 km at your own or any local garages. I did visit my nearby authorized service center and I feel cheated. They wash the chain with high-pressured water which will damage the O-rings in the chain and lubed it with used engine oil which will make a real mess with lots of dust and debris and provides very poor lubrication. Can't say about other Honda-authorised service centers. Also do adjust the headlight alignment as soon as you buy this motorcycle. And also adjust the pressure in both tires. The showroom fills the tire with air more than it requires which results in more stiffer riding experience. The optimal pressure for the front it 25psi and for the back 29psi.
Find out the list of available Honda Bikes.
The ARAI mileage of Honda Hornet 2.0 is 42 kmpl. The average of the Hornet 2.0 is 45 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

Had a good experience with the bike, The seating comfort is somewhat disappointing but the pickup and Mileage are very good. Maintenance cost also is very low. Good bike on a budget. With a diamond-type frame, USD forks in the front, and a mono-shock in the rear, the Hornet 2.0 provides a balanced and comfortable ride.•It handles corners with stability, thanks to its lightweight frame and well-distributed weight, and is also easy to maneuver in city traffic.•The seating posture is upright and slightly aggressive.

One of the best-looking bikes in this price segment I must say. The first time when I looked at this bike, I was like wow what a bike. Mind-blowing. Also a powerful bike with a 185 cc engine. You must buy this one if you are looking for any bike under this budget. The grey color bike is looking quite good. Go for it.

I just bought this bike. I haven't faced any issues with this bike. Service is also great. There's some discomfort for the pillion. The clutch was very smooth one could handle it. Its weight is also very light. And best for 5'10" height people. Its mileage is great at 190cc engine. I will recommend everyone to buy.

Best for city and long-distance travel smooth engine and smooth clutch top speed up to 130.It best looks on 180 cc and best bike on 180cc.Value under 2 lakhs. I haven't ridden it. But based on other's reviews this is my opinion. It seems to me a very good commuter who doubles down as a tourer. It has a slight long stroke nature which tremendously helps its cause. You will feel the torquey nature of the motor in high gear. The mileage would be around 40. The only gripe would be the body panel quality. Gixxer is built solidly. So is Apache. But late FZs seem to be a tad gaudy. Likewise, Hornet is a bit gaudy in its design. Honda's body panels are not so strong. But on the other hand, Hornet won't attract too many eyeballs. Service centers are plenty. You will get a reasonable resale price. Most importantly it would be uber reliable. Hondas generally don't go wrong.I feel Hornet is a solid choice for what it offers.

Hornet 2.0 offers the best value for money features for its segment, even though being an 184cc 4stroke engine it's provided with less.powered 17bhp engine compared to 18.9bhp mt15. And was given a 5-speed gearbox instead of 6. Liquid cooling was replaced with air cooling for cost-cutting. Even with these cost-cutting negatives, the bike gives tough tail-to-tail competition to most of the bikes in the segment. The Bike looks Massive, crisp & sporty.

The bike is best at 60-70 kmph speed. Above that there are slight vibrations, Issues - The heating issue and service centre people are pathetic.

I purchased my Honda Hornet 2.0 three months ago, and I've had several issues since then. The instrument cluster has water inside, and the fuel gauge doesn't work. Occasionally, the entire daylight stays on even when I remove the key, and the self-start switch gets stuck unless I manually pull it back. The check engine light also comes on intermittently.I reported these issues to the showroom over a month ago, but they still haven't resolved them. This experience has been frustrating, and I'm disappointed with the after-sales service. My riding experience is good and I getting mileage around 50-55.

City Commute king!
Basudeb Moulik
I have been using this bike since April 2024, I must say it is a very nimble and easy-to-ride bike. Good acceleration, Best for city commute and occasionally highway touring. The bike is best at 60-70 kmph speed. Above that there are slight vibrations, Issues - The heating issue and service centre people are pathetic.

Do not use the honda engine oil, try switching to motul or some other brand, fully synthetic engine oil for better performance, I have myself shifted to motul and now my engine heating issue has gone down a lot. Even the performance has improved.

Instrument cluster issue
Mohammed Rizwan
I purchased my Honda Hornet 2.0 three months ago, and I've had several issues since then. The instrument cluster has water inside, and the fuel gauge doesn't work. Occasionally, the entire daylight stays on even when I remove the key, and the self-start switch gets stuck unless I manually pull it back. The check engine light also comes on intermittently.I reported these issues to the showroom over a month ago, but they still haven't resolved them. This experience has been frustrating, and I'm disappointed with the after-sales service. My riding experience is good and I getting mileage around 50-55.

ENGINE OVER HEATING ISSUE
A Akash Reddy
the bike is looking good, nice performance, the milage is also better compared to other 180cc bikes, but the default is engine over heating issue. when we start ride 1-35km the engine is good but above 40km it starts engine heating, and the seat is also not comfortable for long rides, and also it misses dual abs.
