Amazing bike with the new 399 cc LC4 KTM engine, which delivers amazing performance. Acceleration is absolutely fine with an amazing mid-range. It has almost negligible speedo error. Easily achieves 0 - 100 in nearly 7 seconds. Very well for cruising at 90 - 120. Gives mileage of around 29 - 30 kmpl (26 in the city & 33 on the highway if ridden politely). There are some vibes post 6k RPM. Gorgeous machine with only one drawback which is its tyres (Tyres are amazing as they are from Pirelli. Although they are tubeless, particularly in this bike Husqvarna had gone with Tubed tyres because of spoke wheels). But no complaints because I love those spoke wheels over standard alloys. Final verdict is "I had never been in love with anyone (even with my crush) but this machine man whom I truly love LIKE A SOULMATE!"

The ARAI mileage of Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is 29 kmpl.

Easy to control in tight spaces, can feel the pull bike is just too awesome and the + point is pillion can sit easily, a perfect urban cafe racer, the weight to power ratio is unbeatable just love riding this bike, clocked 1270km till now, and the service is awesome only issue I'm facing is the mobile connectivity and the service app is not working properly. The bike runs smoothly compared to the 390 Duke. Attached pic of the first service as well.

Extremely Bad Service & Unprofessional after sales

Extremely disappointed with Husqvarna's Motorcycle after-sales service! Waiting 15+ days for basic repair parts is unacceptable.Husqvarna's service center is a nightmare! No spare parts are available, and they hold your bike hostage for 15+ daysBought a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 bike thinking it'd be reliable, but it spends more time at the service center than my home for minor spare parts! Otherwise bike is wonderfulHusqvarna's after-sales service is non-existent. Be prepared for long waits and frustration.

Awesome motorcycle for daily commute. Riding comfort and pleasure compared to the Duke 390 is insane as it is not cramped. You can rip it around the streets and also go for touring in a much more relaxed position.I would prefer this over the Duke 390 any day as I'm a little bit taller too.Just take a test drive with proper tyre pressure and don't worry about the vibration part as they reduce significantly after the run-in period.Have a safe ride folks.

This is definitely a top-tier 400cc motorcycle! The motorcycle has got 46 PS of power in a single-cylinder engine, so expect vibrations in lower RPMs. However, the machine is buttery smooth, over the 4k mark. The power-to-weight ratio is amazing and it pulls like a wild beast! P.S: Those who are interested, can request to swap the spoked rims on the Svartpilen with the alloys on the Vitpilen.

Tips for other riders
Can update to alloys, based on showroom availability. Always keep at least 3 ltrs of petrol in the fuel tank, as this is a FI engine. The 17-inch wheels are not made for hardcore offroading but can do regular offroad with ease.

I bought it from Lucknow ktm showroom, as it was brand new and I had to reach my city far from Lucknow around 250 km, I ride on low revs, with few stays alongside the highway. But believe me, it was an awesome experience. I'm 36 and riding since my early teenage and rode many liquid-cooled engine bikes. But, believe me, it is most a gentle ride with a bundle of specs. Also, it is not a Sponsored opinion.
