Hello Everyone! So, to the people who want to know about this bike here is an in-depth review for this bike. I've purchased this bike on 6th May 2023 and it's June 6th today 2024, it's been a year and I'd like to share my experience with you all about this bike.Let's get into it!1) How I used the bike:-Firstly the bike is a rocket, it has 30.84 bhp and 24nm torque which is perfectly sufficient for a street bike in a city. I used this bike for various purposes like city commute, long rides and off-roading and what I've learned from it is this bike isn't for off-road due to its lower ground clearance and yet it can manage small off-roading but not the big one. The amount of fun you get riding this bike is literally amazing the torque is just enough if you're just a daily rider who rides for college and other purposes. I personally used it for really A-Z purposes like I used it to get veggies, groceries, and house works, college, personal travel and so on etc and it never disappointed in any aspect and anywhere at all. 2)Power:- The bike has 30.84bhp and 24nm torque as mentioned above and it can reach a top speed of 160 if there's less wind and the rider is in between 55-60Kgs. Yet any weight rider with a pillion with overall both driver and pillion weight adding up to 140 kg can still hit a top speed of 140-145kmph. I've personally clocked 160 on this bike and there are no wobbling issues or smtg and the brakes on this bike are top class. From, 90-0 in 26 metres. The bike is very lightweight and very easy to manoeuvre through the city traffic. I always personally ride it very fast and I've never faced any issues in this one year. 3)Looks and Impressions:-The bike looks so futuristic and it's a crowd-puller for sure. You ride this bike in the city and I guarantee you everybody will stare at it due to its design. Unfortunately, this cool design was stopped and the newly designed Vitpilen 250 is just another normal bike. You'll get a lot of attention while riding this and I frequently got asked if this bike is imported from the U.S and people were curious and wanted to know about this bike and as an owner, I never felt so happy. Overall in about looks you can never find something this beautiful and futuristic at a low price.4)Problems & Issues:-It's been a year and I faced only a few common Problems with this bike in the first one is comfort. As the seat of this bike is too thin your Butt will surely hurt if you ride for a long time and it would be great if Husqvarna increased the width of the seat. To counter this problem I bought an air cushion seat from Amazon for about 2k and that's solved my issue. And the second problem is as this is a cafe racer you have to lean while driving it and while leaning all the weight of your body will be transferred to the front of your forearms, palm and Shoulders and they'll hurt after riding for 45+ minutes and if you ride for 2+ hours even your back will start hurting. So, for long rides of more than 3 hours, I wouldn't suggest this bike instead get the twin brother Svartpilen 250. As I love café racer bikes I chose this instead of an RE GT 650.Issues: There are no issues which arisen with the bike till now. I rode it in every weather condition possible and still this baby works like a charm.I took my first road trip to deomali odisha from Vishakapatnam it's a 800km approx round trip in December. I rode it uphill with a pillion in 1°C temperature and the bike never stopped climbing. And in the previous year's monsoon season, I rode this bike through 2 feet of water and still had no issues. I even rode it in peak summers and during summer it emits twice the heat as a normal day. Ig it's common in every bike.5)Maintenance:-For approx 1 year two months, I owned this bike and I spent approx 10k for just maintenance including all the 3 services which cost 2000/- per service and I maintain my bike every month myself, I bought a paddock stand and chain lube, chain clean and Wd-40 and other consumables to Maintain the bike every 2-3 months. Till now I raced a lot with this bike and the brain pads are intact, the clutch is doing fine, the tyres are still brand new, and the bike is still looking new. I just don't ride this bike like a chapri and do unnecessary burnouts, wheelies and stops etc and ruin the bike, as a motorcycle enthusiast I just enjoy my bike, travel, maintain and take care of it and I respect the machine and it's service. So, coming to the point, to maintain this bike yearly it'll take approx 8000-10000 rupees and I personally feel it's cheap than many other bikes whose parts constantly fail and other issues arise within a year of purchase.6)Mileage and other details:-Finally, we got to the main point of the topic which is mileage! Don't get stunned hearing this. This bike (Vitpilen 250) gives an average mileage of 40kmpl in the city and 45-50 kmpl on the highway. Yes! What you heard is true. Many don't believe it but I have proofs which I'll attach below in the image section please check. So the question is how does it give 40 mileage? The answer is simple. Maintenance and Petrol. These two are the key points of mileage. What I used to do is from the very beginning I purchased this bike I only used to fill Indian Oil XP 95 Octane petrol which is of good quality and with that and added maintenance like cleaning the chain, chain sprocket, front chain sprocket and checking the air pressure regularly and etc will all lead you to a good mileage of your bike. 7) Overall Review:-The bike is a very good choice if you want good mileage and performance of a 250cc engine I wouldn't say the engine is refined but for the price point of 2.7L which I bought it is worth every single penny and I have no regrets. Initially, I wanted to purchase a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 but for the price point of 4L and what the engine offers I couldn't pick it even the overall mileage is disappointing ik it is a 650cc bike but as a middle-class person, I would just pick a bike which offers me all the terms like Quality, Reliability, Performance etc. And this is it guys I hope you make your choice according to your needs! Thank You!

Vitpilen 250 review

I am going to talk about Vitpilen 250 in this review. 1st Vitpilen means white arrow. This bike is available in only one color variant in India. Everyone knows that this bike is produced by Bajaj. Build quality is nice, so no issues with looks. Most of the components such as engine, frame, suspensions and brakes are the same as the duke 250. The frame is steel trellis powder coated. Front looks, outline drls, day time, inside led in the bike is a overall awesome appearance along with round shape. Digital odometer like round shape. but no mobile app connection, No gps and its too bad. Front suspension is not suitable for Indian roads. Ground clearance is not good only 149mm which cannot be used off-road. Foot pad quality is of super steel pads but rear footpads are like sports bikes. Engine has aluminum finish which is too attractive. This bike has dual channel ABS. Backside view; tail light design has a new look. Exhaust, sounds not bad. Rear suspension is monoshock suspension but not adjustable. Performance; performance is extraordinary. 24 nm torque. Best street fighter. Also the bike might heat up in traffic but if won't be that of an issue as heat management is very good. I feel somehow this bike will not ditch on road. This bike have fuel injection. Mileage; city mileage is 28km per liter. Long trips give 33km per liter.Pros: speechless look, amazing torque and power, the way the bike pull which is very smooth. Cons: this bike bit taller than most of other regular bikes that the prominent difference. Seat height is 842 mm.

Pocket-rocket clocks upto 164kmhr on gps. But got a slower low end torque.
Prithish Kr Singh
The plot in short:- the bike is nimble and easy to ride, the front suspension is on the stiffer side since it improves cornering, the rear suspension got 6 steps damping settings, the low-end torque is insanely fun and the top end hovers around 162-164 km/hr max on gps ...Which in my opinion is an overkill since it reduces bike's efficiency and longevity, ground clearance is a headache for Indian roads since the illegal speed breakers collide with the beneath surface where the heat pipes reside, a certain type of issue increases the exposure towards dents and cracks on the pipeline. And the seat height is too much for the average Indian buyer with a shorter height, which in my case is negligible. The slipper clutch is soft and easy to use, and the resistance against the grip done by the clutch lever is almost null by the clutch leaver while pulling it for gear shiftings. Packed with a complete led setup for every unit(signal lights, drls, headlamps, rear stop light) on the bike. The fuel tank doesn't have enough volume which is a con in my opinion and is not suitable for long rides, while the posture doesn't allow you to do so at the same time, so never mind. Abs and breaking are top-tier, but the brake pads tend to heat up quickly, so it's better to add ceramic brake pads and replace the stock ones for better braking bite power and stability, during high speeds the stability lacks a little bit unlike other bikes within the same range, and you might need an anti-tank slapper to prevent high-speed crashes. But still, a skilled rider could go away with it...Pros:-design, performance, stability, maneuverability, braking, completely led setup, dual channel byebre abs, wp apex suspension(which is better than the vanilla wp suspension), slipper clutch, smooth transmission.Cons:-seat height, ground clearance, shifting rod jamming, lack of ceramic brake pads small fuel tank, weird-looking mirrors and grab rail.

Where retro meets future perfect for style conscious buyers
4 years ago
Preyass
I bought my vitpilen 250 on 07 jun'20, just few days after the lockdown period ended in delhi. I went to the showroom for a test ride, but didn't get one due to covid-19 situation. Only thing i did was, i sat on the bike to check the seat height. Mine was the first husqvarna bike to be sold from that showroom. Riding experience is pretty good so far, i use it for daily commute. Bike has a sporty seating posture and i don't think it's everyone's choice. Waiting at the traffic signals, getting pulled over numerous times, people approaching me whenever i stop for a tea, trust me this bike is a conversation starter. And that perplexed look on the people's face when i tell them the make & model of the bike. I usually tell them, this company is owned by ktm to make it simple. The bike looks very minimalist, like 'retro meets future'. My suggestion would be, just don't forget to remove those grab rails if you want the bike to look more sexy.I have done my bikes first service at ktm service center nearby my place. Basically, servicing cost will be similar to duke 250. Performance of the bike is really nice and i get around 32-35kmpl mileage for my daily commutes.Pros:- this bike is a real attention grabber. Really made for style conscious buyers.- you get reliable service as it's provided by ktm. Cons:- this bike my look compact, but the seat height is higher than average. I'm 5'6, and i think shorter people might find it difficult to reverse the bike while being seated.- the ground clearance of this bike is pretty low, you are going to hit those speed bumps which are not made according to the norms if you are not careful enough.

4 years ago

Amazing café racer looks amazing and powerful 250 cc engine. If you are looking forward for this one buy without any hesitation. Best headlight led, amazing color combinations, love the design. Breaking system with great bite. Sitting posture is more aggressive and little more painful after long riding.
