Jawa 42 FJ Summary
Jawa 42 FJ is a cruiser bike available in 4 variants and 5 colours. The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by 334cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 28.76 bhp and a torque of 29.62 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Jawa 42 FJ comes up with anti-locking braking system. This 42 FJ bike weighs 194.6 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
The new Jawa 42 FJ in India is the more powerful and sporty iteration of the 42 family.
The design, to begin with, has a modern retro theme. This is evident from the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with the brushed aluminium inserts. The fenders are also quite neatly styled with the characteristic Jawa taillight protruding from the rear fender.
Other bits about the design, like the blacked-out engine and upswept exhaust pipes, add to the sporty elements of the bike.
The bike is available in the following colours - Aurora Green Matter, Mystique Copper, Cosmo Blue Matte, Deep Black/ Matte Black Clad, and Deep Black/Matte Red Clad
In terms of features, the bike gets LED lights, USB charger, and a single-pod, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 21.45bhp and 29.62Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
The bike employs a steel chassis that is suspended by a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm disc brake at the front and a disc brake at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.
The prices of the Jawa 42 FJ begin at Rs. 1.99 lakh and go up to Rs. 2.2 lakh, ex-showroom. In terms of competition, the bike goes up against the Honda CB 350 RS.

Don’t go for it worst decision of my life to purchase a Jawa 42 fJ Within a month, I visit more than 10 times Showrooms and service Centres about my problems, engine oil leakage from the engine, and also the fuel motor not working properly. That’s why my bike broke down many times on the road. I just paid 2.70 lakh for headaches and mental harassment.

Good One but could have been better

I recently purchased a Jawa 42 FJ Matte Black and red, so far ridden around 800kms. These are the pros and cons I noticed.Pros1. Great styling, people do notice on the road.2. Good performance, the acceleration from 0-60 is quite fast. 3. Good handling, able to weave through the traffic the vehicle is quite responsive and agile.4. Mileage, considering the engine size. I get between 27-30kmpl, a mix of highway and city riding.Cons1. Flimsy paint job, the tank already has visible scratches and the coat is quite thin. Would recommend new buyers to get a ppf done right out of the showroom.2. Stiff suspension setup, your back will curse you even on minor potholes. Heard it's adjustable and will update after adjustment.3. Lack of features no charging port, no Bluetooth connectivity.4. Panels gaps, the left panel housing the ECU has visible gaps. Checked with the service center, the response was that's how it is. 5. Lacks of accessories, none of the places have 42 FJ-specific accessories. Thankfully was able to get a crash guard somehow.

My life was much better after the purchase of this bike. Also, the experience it gave me in my life. My girlfriend is super happy that we can travel to amazing places without worrying about anything. This has made me feel like I can travel without worrying about anything because of the safety of this bike.

Retro look with so much power and high acceleration

Jawa 42 fj is one of the best choices you can have. it has a dual uplift silencer which gives you aggressive looks and the acceleration of the Jawa 42 is much more compared to other bikes with the same CC, no heating issue, and this time ground clearance is too much that you can use it for off-roading too. Handling and braking are also a key factor as feeling the power.

The bike is really like fire. I was told the bike's mileage was 29 kmph/L Very good bike and has a very good performance engine is also Powerful and has a top speed of 140kmph it is also perfect for a Little off-road and has enough torque to pull a car. I also own a Himalayan it doesn't match the power of this Jawa 42 very good bike. It is also comfortable for long rides.

This bike comes with all the features I have to drive this bike at approx 4000 km and there is no issue when you go for long drive and also when you drive in town city.The look is awesome as compared to the Jawa 42 and better than the Hunter this bike also feels like a sports bike they grow up speed in a few seconds and the breaker system works fast so I can say this is value for money.
