The new Jawa 42 FJ in India is the more powerful and sporty iteration of the 42 family.
The design, to begin with, has a modern retro theme. This is evident from the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with the brushed aluminium inserts. The fenders are also quite neatly styled with the characteristic Jawa taillight protruding from the rear fender.
Other bits about the design, like the blacked-out engine and upswept exhaust pipes, add to the sporty elements of the bike.
The bike is available in the following colours - Aurora Green Matter, Mystique Copper, Cosmo Blue Matte, Deep Black/ Matte Black Clad, and Deep Black/Matte Red Clad
In terms of features, the bike gets LED lights, USB charger, and a single-pod, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 21.45bhp and 29.62Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
The bike employs a steel chassis that is suspended by a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm disc brake at the front and a disc brake at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.
The prices of the Jawa 42 FJ begin at Rs. 1.99 lakh and go up to Rs. 2.2 lakh, ex-showroom. In terms of competition, the bike goes up against the Honda CB 350 RS.

This bike comes with all the features I have to drive this bike at approx 4000 km and there is no issue when you go for long drive and also when you drive in town city.The look is awesome as compared to the Jawa 42 and better than the Hunter this bike also feels like a sports bike they grow up speed in a few seconds and the breaker system works fast so I can say this is value for money.

focus on key aspects like its retro design, comfortable riding position, smooth engine performance, good handling in city conditions, decent mileage, and potential downsides like slightly stiff rear suspension, average high-speed stability, and possible concerns about after-sales service. am feeling so good because of using jawa 42.happy to move in Jawa 42.good hp and good to maintain.

Pros:- Amazing power delivery and its road presence is superb.You are going to feel the power while riding.Overall a complete package for retro bike lovers.The front suspension is quite good.Breaking is amazing.Cons:- Rear suspension is on a little bit more stiffer side.Mild heating issues but can be ignored if you are riding 350 cc motorcycle.

I'm the first customer to get delivered this bike in our city. Always looked for a new design bike as RE bikes are very common. In terms of Power, Look & style, it's unbeatable in its segment. You can feel it whenever take on the road. With dual exhaust, a 6-speed gear box & oil-cooled engine it becomes more advantageous over its competitors.The only demerit I noticed is mileage, 30kmpl. At the same time, you can't expect more mileage with that much power.So if mileage isn't your priority then you can go for this very eye-catching, power machine which makes you feel unique on the road.

I purchased a green color this month on 10.10.24. After riding for more than 400 kms.1. Riding comfort is good.2. Power is good.3. Handling good.4. Road presence is good.5. Top speed not reached yet. Maybe after 1st service.6. No vibration compared to RE.7. Brake good.8. Light could have been better.9. Pillion space could have been better.10. Minimum gear required - 4rth -30, 5th- 50, 6th-70

Its 293cc engine delivers a smooth ride, offering both power and efficiency. The classic design. The overall performance of the bike is fantastic. The mileage of the bike is good according to the power of the engine.
