Harley-Davidson India has listed the prices for the 2020 Forty-Eight and Forty-Eight Special on its website. The latest iteration of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Forty-Eight Special are priced at Rs 10,61,000 and Rs 10,98,000 (ex-showroom) respectively. The 2020 range from the American motorcycle manufacturer is compliant with the BS6 emission norms.
Both, the Forty-Eight and Forty-Eight Special share identical design. The Special, however, is distinguished by 70’s inspired graphics on the fuel tank and Tallboy handlebars. Colour options on the standard model include Vivid Black, River Rock Gray Denim, Stone Washed White Pearl, Performance Orange and Stiletto Red. The Special, on the other hand, is available in Vivid Black, Billiard Red and Stone Washed White Pearl.
Engine specifications on the Forty-Eight and the Forty-Eight Special include a 1,202cc, V-twin cylinder, air-cooled motor that produces a maximum torque of 97Nm at 4,250rpm. Anchoring department features Dual-piston callipers on both wheels. Shock absorption hardware includes 49mm forks at the front and an Emulsion shock with screw pre-load adjuster at the back.
