TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the 2022 Apache RTR 180 in the Indian market at Rs 1,30,590 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company will offer this motorcycle in a single variant and two colour options – Pearl White and Gloss Black. Both colour options feature identical graphics that are visible on the front fender, fuel tank, engine cowl, and rear panel.
Unlike the Apache RTR 160, the Apache RTR 180 is available in a single variant and it is loaded with new features. These include a Bluetooth-enabled fully-digital instrument cluster with SmartXonnect technology and voice assist, three ride modes (Rain, Urban, and Sport), LED headlight, LED taillight, and dual-channel ABS.
The motorcycle is powered by a 177.4cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that makes 16.78bhp at 9,000rpm and 15.5Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. That said, the TVS Apache RTR 180 competes the likes of Honda Hornet 2.0 and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
