- Powered by a 249cc, DOHC engine
- Based on the KTM 250 Duke
- Styling will be similar to Svartpilen 401
Husqvarna Motorcycle is all set to launch the Svartpilen 250 in India. Type Approval documents suggest that the motorcycle has been homologated in the country and its official launch should be sooner than anticipated.
The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 will be based on the Vitpilen 250 platform, and its design language will be largely identical to the Svartpilen 401. However, it will feature an LCD instrument console instead of the colour TFT unit on its elder sibling.
Underneath, the new Svartpilen 250 will be powered by a KTM 250 Duke-derived 249cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine that churns out 31bhp at 9,000 and a peak torque of 25Nm at 7,250rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox that comes with an assist and slipper clutch as standard.
Feature-wise, the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 comes packed with a five-inch LCD screen with optional Bluetooth connectivity, ride-by-wire system, traction control, quickshifter, dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode, and a Type-C charging port.
