Triumph has unveiled the Bonneville Bobber Black, a new addition to its modern classic range. Based on the Bonneville Bobber, it features blacked-out components that replace the chrome from the standard bike.
Changes aren’t limited to the cosmetics. The Bobber Black also features upgraded 47mm Showa cartridge front forks in place of the 41mm KYB setup. It also gets smaller 16-inch rims although with beefier tyres. The brake setup has also been upgraded with a 310mm twin disc setup with Brembo callipers up front. The rear continues to use a single-disc with Nissin calipers. The bike also gets feet-forward controls and a full LED headlight with DRL (daytime running light). The Bobber Black gets a cruise control system along with two riding modes.
The Bobber Black retains the same high-torque 1200cc twin from the standard Bonneville Bobber. This unit produces 76bhp and 106Nm of torque. Although Triumph is yet to reveal the pricing, it is sure to be priced higher than the standard bike.
