Royal Enfield had launched its 650cc twins in the US by the end of September which was the first country to get these bikes. Gradually, RE has been introducing them in other countries. Based on a double-cradle frame, the bikes are powered by a 648cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin motor that churns out 47bhp of power and 52Nm of torque. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear monoshock while a single disc brake handles the braking duties on both ends. ABS comes as standard.
Royal Enfield keeps the specifications of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 similar for all the countries these are sold in.
