Husqvarna has already announced the pricing of the Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen and pegged them at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) each. Now, a few dealerships have started accepting bookings for the two motorcycles.
The booking amount stands at Rs 5,000 and is refundable. On the other hand, deliveries for the Husqvarna twins are expected to commence from next week. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 will be sold from Bajaj’s ProBiking umbrella which will also retail KTM motorcycles.
For those living under a rock, the Husqvarna 250 twins are based on the KTM 250 Duke. They share the same tubular trellis frame which houses a 248cc, single-cylinder motor that puts out 29.6bhp and 24Nm of torque. Suspension duties are done by inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear sourced from WP. Meanwhile braking hardware consists of a disc brake at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
