Ather Energy, the Indian electric scooter brand, has announced three new subscription plans for its existing as well as new customers. Apart from the existing Ather One plan, the three new schemes introduced are – Ather Connect, Ather Service and Ather Charge.
The prices (exclusive of GST) for the new yearly and quarterly subscription plans are as follows:
Ather Connect - Rs 3000/year, Rs 900/quarter
Ather Charge - Rs 6000/year, Rs 1650/quarter
Ather Service - Rs 6000/year, Rs 1650/quarter
As for the services available under the schemes, the Ather Connect includes free services for data-connected features. The Ather Charge plan includes free connected services along with free public and home charging while the Ather Service scheme includes free vehicle service with roadside assistance and free connected services.
Ather One is the company’s flagship plan which was introduced during the launch of its scooter models, Ather 340 and 450. The price of the Ather One yearly plan is Rs 8,400 and the quarterly plan costs Rs 2,200. The services included in this scheme are free public and home charging and free vehicle and data-connected services.
Ather Energy has two electric scooters in its line-up; Ather 340 and Ather 450. While the former is powered by a 4.4kW motor with 20Nm of torque, the latter gets a 5.4kW motor that churns out 20.5Nm of torque. The design and features of both the scooters remain identical.
The Ather 340 is priced at Rs 1,09 lakhs and the Ather 450 carries the price tag of Rs 1,24 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom, Mumbai).
