Bengaluru-based Ather Energy has released a teased video announcing the introduction of a new variant of the 450 electric scooter. Christened as ‘450X’, the company is calling it a super scooter owing to the additional features. The company had pulled the plug on its 340 model in September owing to the higher demand for the more feature-packed and powerful 450 model.
While the teaser video does not disclose any details of the new variant except the model name, Ather has mentioned that the limited edition 450X will pack better performance, connectivity and more intelligent features. Along with the new additions, we believe the 450X might get graphics on the body to differentiate it from the standard 450 model. Ever since Ather Energy made its foray into the electrical two-wheeler market, the firm has been gathering data and further improving the product with new riding modes, features and other bits via OTA (Over The Air) updates.
The limited edition Ather 450X will soon be available across the country as pre-orders for the upcoming variant are to commence shortly.
