- To get a single removable battery
- Will offer a range of 64km
- Likely to feature two ride modes, LED illumination, and more
Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler arm, Vida, is now working on its V2 scooter range. The lineup will have three models: Pro, Plus, and Lite. In this story, we will discuss the most affordable model, the V2 Lite. We expect it to cost about Rs. 90,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
We expect the V2 Lite to get the same design and overall form as the current V1 scooters but with new colour schemes. Apart from that, we also know that the V2 Lite will be powered by a single 2.2kWh battery that is likely to offer a 64km range. It will be linked to a 3.9kW motor offering a top speed of 69kmph. The V2 Lite’s battery could take about three and a half hours for 80 percent charge.
On the hardware front, the V2 Lite will get a front disc and rear drum brake setup while telescopic front forks and a monoshock do the suspension duties. It will ride on 12-inch wheels.
Vida is likely to equip the V2 Lite with follow-me-home lights, keyless operation, cruise control, two-way throttle, incoming call alerts, and LED illumination.
We expect Vida to launch the V2 Lite soon and offer multiple colour options with it - Matte Abrax Orange, Glossy Sports Red, Glossy Black, and Matte White.
