Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler vertical, Vida has commenced operations in the Indian market with its first experience centre in Bangalore. Located at Vittal Mallya Road, this new experience centre will offer test rides of the company’s first electric scooters, the V1 Plus and V1 Pro. After Bangalore, the company will commence operations in Delhi and Jaipur. The Vida brand has already commenced the bookings in the aforementioned three cities. The deliveries are scheduled to start in the second week of December 2022.
The differences between the two variants of the Vida V1 electric scooter are limited to battery capacity and acceleration timing. Both scooters boast a claimed top speed of 80kmph and get four ride modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and User Customisable. Meanwhile, the 0-40kmph acceleration time for the Plus and the Pro variants stands at 3.4 seconds and 3.2 seconds, respectively. Then, the Pro variant comes with a 3.94kWh battery pack while the Plus version gets a 3.44kWh battery pack.
The two variants can also be distinguished through their respective colour options. The Vida V1 Plus will be sold in three colours – Matte White, Matte Sports Red, and Gloss Black. The Pro version, on the other hand, will be available in four paint options – Matte White, Matte Sports Red, Gloss Black, and the additional Matte Abrax Orange.
