- Hero to unveil new electric scooter
- Based on the Vida V1 Pro platform
- India launch next year
Hero MotoCorp plans to expand its electric scooter line-up with a variant of the Vida V1 Pro. The company is looking to showcase the coupe variant of the Vida V1 electric scooter at the 2023 EICMA Show.
According to a leaked picture, which also has the new 160cc ADV scooter from Hero, there’s a Vida V1 Pro EV placed on the left side of the image. This scooter is seen with a single curvy seat, and the tail section differs from the current model. At its launch, the brand mentioned this scooter’s ability to change body panels and create a new scooter. It looks like the Gurgaon-based company wants to bring this coupe variant to the Indian market sometime next year.
Currently, the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter range is offered in only one variant - Pro. The Pro variant has a more extended range, better acceleration, and more colours. The 0-40kmph acceleration time for the Pro variant stands at 3.2 seconds. The V1 Pro has a top speed of 80kmph and gets four ride modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and user-customisable.
We are expecting this new Vida V1 variant to come with newer colour schemes, but the overall performance figures are likely to remain the same.
