- It is a reverse trike with two wheels at the front
- Each front wheel gets independent suspension
The recently concluded Hero World 2024 was a carnival of interesting products and concepts that the Indian brand has been working on. While most of the limelight was stolen by production offerings such as the Mavrick 440 and the Xtreme 125R, one concept that truly caught our attention was the Sway trike concept based on Hero’s existing electric scooter, the Vida V1 Pro.
The Sway is essentially a reverse trike concept with a pair of wheels at the front, unlike conventional trikes such as the Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra which comprises two wheels at the back. The Sway is equipped with independent suspension for each of the front wheels along with separate disc brakes. This type of setting is meant to enhance stability and grip around corners. The rest of the design and bodywork look identical to the Vida V1 Pro production model except for the single seat and rear carrier.
Hero has neither revealed the technical details of the Sway concept nor there’s a word on whether it will make it to production. And even if it does, it won’t happen anytime soon. Besides the Sway, Hero MotoCorp took the wraps off other fresh products including the Xoom 160 adventure scooter, Karizma collector’s edition, and the Mavrick 440, and launched the Xtreme 125R.
