Hero MotoCorp has added two new paint options to its electric scooter, the Vida V1 Pro, namely cyan and black. With this addition, this TVS iQube and Ola S1-rivalling electric vehicle is now available in five colours – white, orange, red, cyan, and black. Meanwhile, the styling remains unchanged, and the Hero Vida V1 Pro retains the modern design for the apron-mounted headlight, dual-tone finish to the panels, a step-up saddle, and 12-inch alloy wheels.
Unlike previously, Hero MotoCorp is only offering the Pro version of this electric scooter in India. This variant boasts a 0-40kmph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds, a 3.94kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 110km, a top speed of 80kmph, and four ride modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and user-customisable. The electric motor is claimed to deliver 6kW of peak output and 25Nm of torque.
The feature list on this electric scooter comprises full-LED lighting, an OTA-enabled seven-inch colour TFT display with a touchscreen, keyless operations, cruise control, and a combined braking system. Meanwhile, the hardware comprises telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake. The vehicle is backed by a five-year/50,000km warranty. On the other hand, the battery comes with a three-year/30,000km warranty as standard.
The Hero Vida V1 Pro rivals the likes of the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 series in the Indian market. This electric scooter is available at Rs. 1,45,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), which, is inclusive of a portable charger, FAME II subsidy, and state government subsidy. However, it excludes insurance, road tax, and registration charges.
