Hero MotoCorp has revised the prices of its Vida V1 electric scooters in the Indian market. The V1 Plus is available at Rs. 1,19,900, while the Pro version, which was previously available at Rs. 1,59,000, is now listed at Rs. 1,39,900.
The company further added that the prices will vary across the country on the basis of respective state subsidies. In Gujarat, for example, the Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 99,900 and Rs. 1,19,900, respectively (including state subsidies).
Moreover, Hero MotoCorp said in its press statement that the revised prices will make the Vida V1 range more accessible and help accelerate the electric vehicle transition in the scooter category. Apart from revising the prices, Hero MotoCorp has also announced its plans to expand into the rest of the country by making the VidaV1 range available in 100 cities within the calendar year 2023. The company plans to use its existing dealer network in the country to scale up the Vida electric scooter operations across India.
As reported earlier, Hero MotoCorp has already commenced operations in Bengaluru, Jaipur, and Delhi. Further, it has also begun the expansion plan with eight new cities – Pune, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Nashik, Hyderabad, Chennai, Calicut, and Kochi. The pre-bookings of the Vida V1 range in these eight new cities have started, and the deliveries will start soon.
