Hero MotoCorp has confirmed via its social media platforms that its Vida V1 electric scooter range will be launched in three major cities in Maharashtra very soon. The company will commence operations in Nashik, Nagpur, and Pune.
Notably, the company currently offer the Vida V1 in Bangalore, Jaipur, and Delhi. The company has also announced that the reservations for this electric scooter have commenced in Chennai and Hyderabad. Hero MotoCorp has not revealed details about the prices or deliveries for the V1 electric scooter in the aforementioned cities. For reference, the V1 range is available from Rs. 1.45 lakh onwards in Bangalore.
This electric scooter in two variants – Plus and Pro. The Pro variant comes with a longer range, better acceleration, and more colour options than the Plus version. The 0-40kmph acceleration time for the Plus and the Pro variants stands at 3.4 seconds and 3.2 seconds, respectively. Further, the Pro variant, with its bigger battery pack (3.94kWh), delivers a longer range than the Plus version (3.44kWh). Meanwhile, both scooters boast a claimed top speed of 80kmph and get four ride modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and user-customisable.
The Plus variant is available in three colours – Matte White, Matte Sports Red, and Gloss Black – while the Pro version is offered in four paint options – Matte White, Matte Sports Red, Gloss Black, and the additional Matte Abrax Orange.
The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter range rivals the likes of TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak in the Indian market.
