- Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 spied
- Will get an updated engine from the new-gen KTM 390 Duke
- Likely to be launched by the end of this year
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 was spotted in its updated form in India a while ago. But this time, the upcoming motorcycle has been seen testing out in the open alongside a KTM 390 Duke.
That said, the Husqvarna is expected to use the revamped engine as the one that is expected to feature on the new-gen 390 Duke. This motor has been bumped up from 373cc to 398cc and is also expected to produce higher performance numbers. Well, other than that, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 gets a load of other changes like a new chassis, lighter alloys, offset monoshock and a disc on the right side. This transition of the braking setup from the left to the right can also be seen on the new Triumph Speed 400.
Now given its production-ready avatar, we can expect the new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 to make its debut sometime later this year after the launch of the new-gen KTM 390 Duke. We expect it to be priced slightly lower than the KTM, just like it is the case with the Husqvarna 250s in India.
