- Available in two colours
- Black Blue Moonshine added to the colour palette
- Priced at Rs 2,19,878
Husqvarna India has updated the colour palette for its quarter-litre motorcycles in the Indian market with the addition of new themes. Post this update, the scrambler-style Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 can be had in two colour options – Dark Galvano and Black Blue Moonshine. The new paint theme on the Svartpilen brings black and blue colour in matte finish. The colour theme is accompanied by beige grey seat cowls.
The changes are limited to the addition of the new colour theme. The design, mechanical specifications, and feature list remain unaltered. Thus, the Svartpilen 250 continues to use the KTM Duke 250-sourced BS6-compliant 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this engine is tuned to deliver 29.6bhp at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm.
The hardware comprises WP Apex upside-down front forks, preload-adjustable WP Apex rear mono-shock, a 320mm front disc, and a 230mm rear rotor. The feature list, too, retains full-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS with supermoto mode, and a slipper and assist clutch mechanism.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 is available at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2,19,878 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and competes against the likes of Yezdi Scrambler and Royal Enfield Scram 411 in the Indian market.
