- Husqvarna e-scooter launch next year
- Concept picture revealed
- Likely to be made in India
Just few days ago, we told you about Husqvarna’s e-motorcycles plans. And now, we also know a bit more about the company’s electric scooter plan.
According to a presentation by Pierer Mobility, this e-scooter will make its world debut in 2021. In fact, the presentation also had a picture of this upcoming scooter, but in concept form. The e-scooter does look quite futuristic with its edgy lines and minimalistic design.
This Husqvarna e-scooter is likely to be powered by a 4kW electric motor. It’s the same platform that the Bajaj Chetak is built on. But expect the Husqvarna to come with better performance and riding range. This scooter is being planned to be made at Bajaj’s Chakan plant and exported to the rest of the world.
Will it be launched in India? We think so. In fact, this e-scooter could share the showroom space with the Bajaj Chetak. This route will help both the brands save on operational costs but also make full use of the showroom space.
