The organiser of India Bike Week, 70 EMG, has announced a Club Outreach Program for the fifth edition of the biking festival. Under the program, rider clubs tying up with the organisers will get special perks during the festival, which will be held in Goa on 24 and 25 November.
The riding clubs, with at least 25 members, which tie up with IBW will get a group discount for entry tickets, along with free t-shirts. The riding club will also get an exclusive stall at the heart of the venue, where the club is free to put up any kind of display. At an event like IBW where a space costs a bomb, the stall has to be the biggest draw for the rider clubs. However, the number of stalls is limited to 30, and is assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Apart from this, the members also get access to an exclusive bar and lounge at the venue and the opportunity to be a part of the Biker Parade which is held on the main straight.
While the two-day pass was priced at Rs 3,500 last year, IBW has dropped it to Rs 1,800 this year as a celebration of the fifth anniversary. While the last year’s event attracted 12,500 entries, the head count is expected to touch 15,000 this year. The organisers have ambitious plans for the IBW, and aim to become the equivalent of the Auto Expo for the leisure riding community.
