- 2022 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 globally revealed
- Gets updated colours and graphics
- India launch might take place sooner or later
KTM’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Husqvarna has revealed the 2022 edition of the Svartpilen 125 for the international markets. Interestingly, the scrambler-styled offering shares a lot of its hardware with the KTM 125 Duke that is available in India.
For 2022, the motorcycle remains the same in terms of mechanical components and design. The only change is the inclusion of new graphics and the availability of new colour options. It continues to be powered by the same 125cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which does duty on the 125 Duke as well. It churns out 15bhp of power and 12Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six-speed transmission system.
The 2022 Svartpilen 125 continues to ride on 17-inch wheels which have spokes, unlike the 250cc made for India models that are equipped with alloy wheels. Moreover, these spoke wheels are shod with off-road-oriented knobby rubbers. There are inverted telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear, both sourced from WP. The braking hardware comprises ByBre callipers accompanied by Bosch ABS.
The 2022 Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 has already started reaching dealerships in select countries. Although we expected the 125cc iterations to be launched in India long back, there have been no talks about it for a while.
