- Husqvarna 401s updated for 2022
- Get a Euro-5 compliant engine
- Could be launched in India by 2023
Husqvarna has taken the wraps off the 2022 Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 for international markets.
Now, for 2022, the biggest change to the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 is to its 373cc engine that has been derived from the KTM 390 Duke. The motor is now Euro-5 compliant but continues to churn out 44bhp. That said, the rest of the mechanicals remain the same as before. With WP Apex forks up front and ByBre Brakes, the Husqvarna 401s are decently specced.
Visually, the bikes are said to be different, if only you looked at them through a microscope. Both Husqvarna 401s get a new paint scheme. The Vitpilen 401 now sports a white and grey colour with copper finished wheels while the Svartpilen 401 comes in a matte black and bronze colour. And the rest of the bodywork is unchanged.
There is no word about its India launch yet, although, we can expect the motorcycles to debut in our country by 2023. Currently, Husqvarna sells the Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 in India.
