- Both get a new colour scheme
- No change in pricing
- Continue using KTM 250 Duke underpinnings
Husqvarna has launched the Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 in India in new colours. The two, KTM 250 Duke based motorcycles continue with the same pricing as before. While the Vitpilen 250 is priced at Rs 2,19,251 lakh, the Svartpilen 250 costs Rs 2,19,878, ex-showroom.
Now, the Vitpilen 250 gets a matte-finish Ceramic White paint scheme with contrasting grey for the rear section and black wheels. This looks similar to its bigger sibling, the Vitpilen 401 which is internationally available. On the other hand, the Svartpilen 250 gets a Black and Blue Moonshine which sports beige seat cowls.
Apart from the new colours, the Husqvarna twins remain the same. They continue to use the same underpinnings as the KTM 250 Duke. Both come powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 29.63bhp and 24Nm. It comes with liquid-cooling and a six-speed gearbox. As for features, the Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 get a dual-channel ABS, full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster.
While the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 don’t have a direct rival, they compete against the Honda CB300R in the country.
