- Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 updated recently
- Available in one colour
- Priced at Rs 2.19 lakh
Husqvarna Motorcycles, which retail through KTM showrooms in India, recently updated their two bike line-up in the country, including the Vitpilen 250, with a new colour.
While the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 continues to be offered in a combination of Silver and Black, the new paint scheme takes inspiration from the internationally sold Vitpilen 401. So it comes with Ceramic White for most of its bodywork with a beige rear section. It contrasts well with the rest of the motorcycle which has blacked-out components. Besides the new paint scheme, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 remains the same as before.
A 248cc, single-cylinder engine with liquid-cooling has been plonked between the trellis frame- both of which the Vitpilen shares with the KTM 250 Duke. Even the power and torque output are similar at roughly 30bhp and 24Nm. Now when it comes to features, the Husqvarna is decently equipped. It comes with full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS as part of its standard equipment.
Priced at Rs 2.19 lakh, ex-showroom, the Vitpilen 250 is slightly more affordable than the KTM 250 Duke and offers distinctive styling too. However, as for competition, it goes up against the Honda CB300R as well as the CB350 RS in India.
