Lightning motorcycles, known for its crazy-fast LS-218 electric superbike, has released a teaser image of the new upcoming model. Christened as the ‘Strike’, it will be the company’s second offering targeted at the mass-produced motorcycle market.
The company has revealed some specs of the motorcycle which are pretty impressive. As per the teaser image, the Strike will be capable of achieving a top speed of 150mph (241kph), a full battery charging time of 35 minutes with a DC charger and an impressive 150mile (241km) electric range. To top it off, Lighting Motorcycles has also mentioned that the Strike will have a starting price of USD 12,998, which is less than half the pricing of Harley-Davidson all-electric LiveWire.
The LS-218 is a fascinating motorcycle that has us highly impressed. Lightning Motorcycles doesn’t have any presence in India with no plans in the near future. Hence, the Strike won’t be coming to India anytime soon.
