- Will feature LED illumination
- Styling seems youthful
- Could be launched in the coming months
Ampere could be gearing up for the launch of its upcoming electric scooter and it could be called the NXG. The brand has teased the same on its website and also commenced the bookings for it.
The NXG’s design cues appear to be on the youthful side and its fascia comprises an LED headlight with apron-mounted turn indicators. The teaser images on the website also reveal the battery pack will be located below the rider’s seat. It has a flat floorboard, which seems to have decent space.
Apart from LED illumination, the Ampere NXG will also feature a touchscreen instrument console with probable smartphone connectivity. The scooter will also get four ride modes with a belt-driven setup. Meanwhile, the hardware will include telescopic front forks, dual rear springs, and a disc brake setup.
Currently, Ampere is conducting a Kashmir to Kanyakumari ride on the NXG. We expect the official launch announcement to happen after the said ride.
