- 2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 priced from Rs 2.75 lakh
- Available in seven colours
- No change to mechanical specifications
Royal Enfield has updated the Interceptor 650 for 2021, adorning it with seven new colour schemes.
The motorcycle’s pricing starts from Rs 2.75 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.97 lakh depending on what colour you choose. The standard colours on the Interceptor 650 consist of Ventura Blue and Canyon Red along with the Orange Crush from the previous model.
It also gets fresh, dual-tone paint schemes with colours like Downtown Drag and Sunset Strip alongside the widely popular Baker Express that debuted on the earlier Interceptor 650. And if you would like something more retro there is the option of the Chrom Mark 2 that harks back to the original Royal Enfield Interceptor.
Besides the new colours, the 2021 Interceptor 650 remains the same. It is powered by a 648cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin that we at BikeWale can’t seem to get enough of. This motor pumps out 47bhp and 52Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Meanwhile, the list of features include a dual-channel ABS and small-digital units fitted in the twin-pod analogue instrument cluster. While we expected the 2021 model to come with the Tripper navigation system and LED lighting, we might see those in the next update that is likely to happen only in 2022.
