Now you can have your Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 upgraded with after-market S&S exhaust pipes. That’s because a Delhi-based motorcycle riding gear and aftermarket parts store, High Note Performance, has announced that it will be importing the S&S exhaust system in India. The news comes following the partnership between Royal Enfield North America and S&S Cycles to supply slip-on stainless steel pipe through authorised dealership.
High Note Performance store will be retailing the S&S slip-on exhaust pipes at Rs 49,000 (inclusive of GST). Interested customers can pre-order a set against a minimum advance payment 50 per cent of its retail price. The slip-on pipes are made using high-grade stainless steel featuring a brushed finish with a tapered cone design. Besides that, the pipes come equipped with a performance catalytic converter and tuneable baffles that are removable. In comparison to the stock exhaust mufflers, the S&S Cycle exhaust mufflers are 4.9kg lighter and are easy to install. The mufflers are direct fits on both Royal Enfield models, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.
Till now, in order to get a pair of these slip-on pipes, one would have to consider having them directly imported at a premium price while also dealing with the hassle of import and duty charges. High Note Performance is informed that the exhaust pipe will be tentatively available from next month. The enterprise is also planning to import other after-market products like high-lift cams and big bore kits also designed by S&S Cycle for the Royal Enfield 650 twin. Get the list here.
