Royal Enfield has launched the Bullet 350 BS6 in India. Here we highlight the five features of the updated Bullet 350 that set it apart from the BS4 model.
Two variants
Just like the BS4 model, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is available in 2 variants; standard with kick-start and a higher version with electric start.
New colour option
Royal Enfield has added a new paint to the Bullet 350’s colour palette called ‘Forest Green’. This colour was earlier available on the now discontinued Bullet 500. Apart from this paint, the Bullet 350 is available in Black, Bullet Silver and Onyx Black for the kick-start variant. The Bullet 350 ES comes in three colours- Jet Black, Regal Red and Royal Blue.
Increase in price
The new Bullet 350 BS6 kick-start has a starting price of Rs 1.21 lakh for the Silver and Onyx Black colours. The Black and Forest Green options cost Rs 1.27 lakh. Meanwhile, the Bullet 350 ES is priced at Rs 1.37 lakh for all colours. (all prices ex-showroom).
BS6-compliant engine
The motorcycle’s 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor now gets fuel-injection and a larger catalytic converter to make it BS6 compliant. The engine continues to produce 19.1bhp of power and 28Nm of torque, and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
No change in cycle parts
Royal Enfield has left the Bullet 350 unchanged in terms of cycle parts. It retains the same telescopic forks upfront and twin shock setup at the rear. Braking is done by a 280mm front disc along with a 153mm rear drum and single-channel ABS. However, weight has increased by 2kg on the electric start variant and 1kg on the kick-start model.
