The oldest model in Royal Enfield’s portfolio, the Bullet 350, has become more expensive this month. The motorcycle, which has been a household name for years in India, is now Rs 2,874 more expensive than before. For the prospective buyers, the latest ex-showroom (Delhi) prices of the motorcycle are mentioned below:
Standard: Rs 1,47,999
Kickstart: Rs 1,54,674
Electric Start: Rs 1,63,338
The Bullet is the only 350cc offering in Royal Enfield’s line-up which is based on the brand’s older platform, unlike the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 which utilise RE’s new ‘J’ architecture. However, the next-generation Bullet 350 was spied about a month back. It looked almost production-ready and the official launch of the bike is likely to take place soon.
The existing model of the Bullet 350 is based on a single cradle frame which holds a 346cc, air-cooled engine. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and churns out 19.2bhp of power and 28Nm of peak torque. It rides on 19-inch wheels at both ends that are suspended by telescopic forks up front and dual springs at the rear. Stopping power comes from a disc-drum combination with single-channel ABS.
