Royal Enfield has launched its first standalone flagship store in Tokyo, thus commencing its operations in the Japanese market. The company has signed PCI Co. Ltd. as its official distributor in the country.
The flagship store, which is located in Suginami-Tokyo, will offer the complete suite of Royal Enfield motorcycles, apparel, and accessories. It will also provide spares and service.
Royal Enfield has entered the Japanese market with five models. The list includes the Bullet 500, the Classic 500, the Himalayan (411cc), the Int 650, and the Continental GT 650.
The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand aims to create a robust ecosystem comprising of retail experience, aftermarket capabilities, rides, community events, and other adjacencies in the Japanese market. Together with PCI Co. Ltd., Royal Enfield plans for ambitious business growth and expansion in Japan.
Speaking about the new dealership, Vimal Sumbly, Royal Enfield’s Head of Business - APAC markets, said that Japan is one of the key motorcycling destinations for avid motorcyclists around the world. Together with its distributor, PCI Co. Ltd., Royal Enfield intends to build a bigger, more exciting motorcycle community in Japan.
