Royal Enfield has unveiled limited-edition variants of its 650cc motorcycles, the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 at the ongoing EICMA motorcycle show.
These special-edition models, which celebrate the company’s 120th anniversary, will be available in limited numbers. The Chennai-based two-wheeler maker will manufacture just 480 units of these motorcycles. All 480 units of the motorcycles will be distributed evenly among several markets. The company said in its press announcement that 60 units each of the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 will be sold in India, South-East Asia, Americas, and European markets respectively.
These special edition models get a black-chrome tank colour scheme, hand-painted pinstripes, and completely blacked out components (engine, silencer, and other elements). The motorcycles will come equipped with a range of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories such as flyscreens, engine guards, heel guards, and touring and bar end mirrors.
Apart from the styling upgrades mentioned above, these limited-edition motorcycles will also get a unique, handcrafted, die-cast brass tank badge. The tank top badge will feature the unique serial number of each motorcycle. Moreover, the motorcycles will also adorn a side panel decal that is a special ode to Royal Enfield’s 120 years.
The company will open the online sale for the 120th Year Anniversary Edition models in the Indian market on 6 December, 2021. Interested buyers can register starting 24 November, 2021 on the company’s website.
