- 650 Twins now use Ceat Zoom Cruz tyres
- Continue to feature the same profile as Pirelli tyres
- No other changes to the motorcycles
Royal Enfield’s flagship products, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have started to arrive with CEAT-sourced tyres instead of Pirelli units that the motorcycles initially received. The CEAT tyres carry the same profile as the Pirelli units.
The Ceat Zoom Cruz tyres feature 100/90 front and 130/70 rear profile that are wrapped in 18-inch wheels. The motorcycles continue to use wire-spoke wheels, although the company is expected to introduce the option of alloys soon.
Other specifications remain unaltered, and the motorcycles continue to use 648cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 47bhp and 52Nm of peak torque.
Royal Enfield has also revised the prices for the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, and the middleweight motorcycles are now available from Rs 2,69,770 and Rs 2,85,685 (ex-showroom, Kolkata), respectively. The company has also revised the prices of the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and the Himalayan.
