- Royal Enfield working on alloy wheels for 650 twins
- Expected to be introduced by Feb 2021
- Could also offer tubeless tyres
Royal Enfield is reportedly working on a set of alloy wheels for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 with durability and validation testing in process.
These alloy wheels for the 650 twins could be launched by February 2021 and offered as an optional accessory. Customers could also get their Interceptor 650 or Continental GT 650 customized through Royal Enfield’s online configurator. And while there is no confirmation about it, the manufacturer could also offer tubeless tyres as part of the package.
However, apart from these changes, we do not expect Royal Enfield to make substantial changes to its 650 twins for 2021. Rather it will focus more on the lower displacement line-up which will include a new Classic 350, and a retro-style street bike likely to be named Hunter.
