Royal Enfield has unveiled the limited-edition 120th Anniversary variants of its 650cc motorcycles, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Both motorcycles would be sold in limited numbers, and distributed evenly across India, South-East Asia, Europe, and America. This limited-edition Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is based on the standard motorcycle and it retains all the design elements from the regular model. Thus, you would spot a round headlight at the front, a curvy fuel tank, a single-piece saddle, and twin-sided exhausts.
The special-edition models, however, gets a black-chrome tank colour scheme and hand-painted pinstripes. Furthermore, this model also gets completely blacked-out engine and silencer.
The 120th Anniversary Edition will come with a range of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories such as flyscreens, engine guards, heel guards, and touring mirrors as standard.
A unique styling element on the limited-edition motorcycle is the handcrafted die-cast brass tank badge.
Other styling elements include a tank top decal that features the unique serial number of each motorcycle and a side panel graphic that is a special ode to Royal Enfield’s 120 years.
The company will sell 60 units each of the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650. The online sale for the 120th Year Anniversary Edition models will begin in the Indian market on December 6, 2021.
The mechanical specifications retain the 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine that makes 47bhp at 7,250rpm and 52Nm of peak torque at 5,250rpm.
