- 120th Anniversary Editions sold out
- Get cosmetic differences
- Already sold out in India
Royal Enfield unveiled the 120th Anniversary Special Editions of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 to the world at the 2021 EICMA in Italy. The motorcycles were limited to just 480 units that would be distributed evenly between, Europe, America and Southeast Asia.
The Special Editions were then offered in India in December and were sold out in under 24 hours. The same story has been repeated in Australia with all the bikes allotted for the country being sold out in 24 hours! Well, apart from the limited availability, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 120th Anniversary models have cosmetic uniqueness to set them apart and make them special.
Both, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 120th Anniversary editions are blacked-out. Except for the upper half of the forks, the engine sump guard, and a few bolts here and there, both motorcycles are adorned in Black Chrome paint. Further complimenting the paint are the gold pinstripes on the fuel tank and the golden graphics on the side panels.
The Special Editions also get a motif on the fuel tank with a unique serial number on each motorcycle for added exclusivity. Royal Enfield has also added accessories to the mix. The motorcycles come with brown handle grips and stitched seats along with black flyscreens, while the Continental GT 650 is also fitted with bar-end mirrors.
