There’s finally some word on the bookings of the most awaited Royal Enfields. The top honcho revealed that the company will start accept bookings for the Interceptor and the Continental GT 650 from November.
Unveiled at the 2017 EICMA Show in Italy, the launch of these bikes were delayed by a few months for reasons unknown to us. However, with the production line in place, the Chennai-based manufacturer will soon start manufacturing these bikes. The launch will take place simultaneously in India as well as the other global markets.
At the beginning, the company will sell these bikes in limited numbers as it expects to have the production line ready in full force four months after the launch. So, a fair bit of waiting period after purchase is on the cards for those early buyers.
We are quite excited to ride these bikes and this has been planned for next month. In terms of pricing we are expecting the Interceptor to cost around Rs 3 lakhs (ex-showroom) and the Continental GT at Rs 3.2 lakhs (ex-showroom) approximately.
