- Interceptor Scrambler spotted testing
- Gets two into one exhaust header
- Based on Interceptor 650
Royal Enfield has commenced testing the scrambler version of the Interceptor on the roads. This is the first time a scramble mule was spotted on Indian roads.
The spotted test mule almost looks like the Interceptor 650, but there’s one change that clearly shows the bike’s scrambler intent – the exhaust. The exhaust header is different. It is a two into one with muffler and the exhaust pipe is shorter too. This prototype is one of the first ones and we’ll see more mules in the next few months.
According to our sources, the Interceptor Scrambler project is running late. It was earlier planned for early 2024 launch, but it has been delayed by a few months. When it is launched, the Interceptor Scrambler will sit above the 650 version and could become one of the best looking Royal Enfields ever made.
