- Shotgun 650 bobber coming soon
- Urban version of Super Meteor
- To be unveiled shortly
Royal Enfield will soon unveil their newest 650cc motorcycle – the Shotgun 650. This motorcycle will be a single-seater version and is likely to share stage with the Super Meteor – a 650cc cruiser based on the Interceptor platform.
Previously, we had talked about the company’s plans of launching the Super Meteor. This bike could also make its presence felt at EICMA 2021, but the Shotgun 650 is the one Royal Enfield might focus on the most.
The Shotgun 650 is mostly like to have an urban theme. According to our sources, the bike sports blacked out mudguard, wheels, engine cover and even the exhaust is fully black. But unlike the other bobbers in the market, the bike gets a regular single-piece handlebar. Most of the components of the Shotgun 650 will also be shared with its cruiser cousin – the Super Meteor.
In terms of performance, this Royal Enfield will get its power from a 650cc parallel-twin air-cooled engine. The power figures might vary but the overall experience and refinement is likely to excite the buyers. The six-speed gearbox will be the same as the Interceptor, but will see some improvement.
We are quite excited to see this bike along with the Super Meteor. Royal Enfield will start launching its new 650cc range from December-January.
