Royal Enfield has registered a sales growth of 2 per cent in India for March 2023.
The manufacturer sold 59,884 motorcycles in the country last month as against the 58,477 units sold in the same time last year. On the other hand, exports for Royal Enfield have grown significantly in March.
The company sold 12,351 motorcycles in overseas markets as compared to the 9,200 motorcycles exported in March 2022 resulting in a 34 per cent increase. That said, in total Royal Enfield sold 72,235 motorcycles last month growing by 7 per cent overall.
Last month, Royal Enfield launched the 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in India. Both motorcycles come with alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and different colour schemes. They also get new features like an LED headlamp and new switchgear similar to the J-series motorcycles. That said, Royal Enfield is also likely to launch the new Bullet 350 that sports updates similar to the Classic 350.
