Royal Enfield will soon launch a 500cc Bullet for the Indian market within the next few weeks and have released a teaser image on their official website which shows the Bullet 500 painted in a shade of forest green and the words coming soon.
The new Bullet 500 will be powered by a 499cc UCE engine which will use carburetors instead of a fuel injection system found on the Classic 500. This will help the company to keep costs down and allow them to price the bike competitively.
As per a report from Bike India the Bullet 500’s mill will produce 27.12bhp of power and 41.3 Nm of torque. The motorcycle may feature a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels or a 19-inch wheels for both wheels. The new Bullet 500 is expected to cost Rs 20,000-Rs 25,000 lesser than the Classic 500 EFI. However, the Chennai based manufacturer has not announced a launch date for the bike.
