- TVS sold 2.02 lakh two-wheelers in India last month
- Exports grew 138 per cent
- To launch the updated Apache RR 310 soon
TVS Motor Company has announced a 115 per cent increase in sales in India for March 2021.
The company sold 2.02 lakh motorcycles and scooters in the country last month as compared to 94,103 units sold in March 2020. On the other hand, exports numbers for TVS grew by 164 per cent with an overseas sale of 1.05 lakh units in March 2021 as against the 50,197 units exported in the same period last year.
Out of this number, TVS’s motorcycle sales grew from 66,673 in March 2020 to 1.57 lakh in March 2021. Meanwhile, scooters witness a growth of 206 per cent with 1.04 lakh units sold in March 2021. For future plans, TVS will be launching the updated Apache RR 310 in India sometime soon and we can also expect it to introduce their electric scooter- the iQube in a few other states in India.
